I’ve been making art this whole life. It started at 3 years old (once glasses were in place), and goes on from there…
In the art world, nowadays, you gotta have quite the pitch to go along with your work. Rational talk with big-serious words that spin-spin-spin ideas like tops and too often no one really knows what you’re talking about…
There have been a lot of shows. There’s my work all over the world. I’ve curated and created a bunch of exhibitions. And I’ve done other stuff.
I haven’t followed many of the rules and that’s been great, been lame, been so-so much at times that if I’m called different then I suppose that wouldn’t be off-base. Nowadays, balance becomes key: between polar opposites and finding a hearty middle ground that would leave a viking content in knowing. Things are changing, just like they constantly are. It’s my intent to continue with the flow.
Thanks for stopping by.
*My mentors include Lynne Minton, Arthur Johnsen and James Wilcox.
