That always excites me, when someone sees something I did or was a part of that I didn’t necessarily intend to happen.  That’s art; art is a type of mirror, and we all see different reflections.

I had the thought the other day, what it would be like to actually see the world through someone else’s eyes, whether or not it would actually look different from what I see.  With all the work and study done on the effect of our thoughts and emotions and lifestyles have on our bodies, you never know…

Sketchy canvas prints will be for sale before too long.  Robert has some good ones going up on his site, so check ‘em out!!  Thanks for all the visits!

About Benjamin Allen Ellis

Some phoenix mythologies talk of the soul's hierarchy in terms of birds. The eagle being our pinnacle, the phoenix right below, constantly burning and dying and rebirthing in order to find itself born eagle. Since 2000, and my first public art show, I've used the Phoenix as a rallying cry for myself to take hold of what I want and keep 'rebirthing' until I get it. After eight years, it was time to consciously move on up. Hey - I'm goin' eagle.
