Uhhh, gladly, I don’t think of it this way anymore.
Don’t know where the original is, could’ve been eaten up by the fire. It has a super-imposed image of an angel on it, this picture done back in 1997. It’s so last century.

About Benjamin Allen Ellis
Some phoenix mythologies talk of the soul's hierarchy in terms of birds. The eagle being our pinnacle, the phoenix right below, constantly burning and dying and rebirthing in order to find itself born eagle.
Since 2000, and my first public art show, I've used the Phoenix as a rallying cry for myself to take hold of what I want and keep 'rebirthing' until I get it. After eight years, it was time to consciously move on up. Hey - I'm goin' eagle.
